This Saturday, October 21st, Rhodes College Women's Soccer celebrated their Senior Day match in Memphis. The Lynx honored the four seniors before their last regular season conference face-off between Hendrix College. The seniors include Allie Shepherd, Addison Tierney, Isabelle Farnsworth, and Annika Seoane.

The Lynx, hoping to improve their conference record, came out to make a statement against the Warriors as the winner of this match would hold the #3 spot in conference rankings for post-season play. Sophomore Blair Rice was the first goal scorer for the Lynx, assisted by Megan Propp. After the half, the Lynx came out hot, and Megan Propp scored a goal assisted by Ellie Lawrence. The dominant offensive play did not stop there, and the Lynx put another goal on the board, with Sophia Rall scoring with the assist by Megan Propp.

The women's final score of 3-0 made a big statement for the Lynx, proving to be a strong contender for the SAA conference title. The #3 women's team moves onto the SAA tournament with an overall record of 10-4-1 and an SAA record of 5-2. The Lynx will open up single elimination SAA playoff play on October 28th at 3 p.m. in Memphis against #6 Birmingham Southern College Panthers (1-4-2 SAA).
