The Rhodes College volleyball team won their first SAA Conference match on Saturday against Millsaps.

The Lynx started strong, winning the first set 25-9. The Majors won the second 25-19 and the third set 25-10, but not after a tough battle by the Lynx. The Lynx, down 2-1 sets, came back to tie with the Majors after winning the fourth set 25-19. The fifth set was a close back and forth but ended with the Lynx coming out on top, winning the fifth set 16-14.

Yzzi Dsamou had 15 kills, was credited with 16.5 points, and hit .163 for the match.
Mackenzie Geer also had two kills and 22 assists.Â

The Rhodes College volleyball team dropped the match to Birmingham-Southern College Sunday after a tough battle.

The Lynx fought hard to keep up with the Panthers until the end of the first set and dropped 25-18. After a comeback, the Lynx were able to top the Panthers 25-23 to win the second set but ultimately lost the match 3-1.

The Lynx are back in action Tuesday, Oct. 17th, at The Mississippi University for Women at 6:30 p.m.
