FRENCH LICK, Ind. (April 12, 2022) - The men's golf team had a strong finish to their regular season schedule with a sixth place finish at the D-III Showcase, hosted by Hanover College at the Ross Golf Course.

After a tough start that saw the Lynx post a 298 (+18) in wet weather conditions, Rhodes did a solid job of bouncing back in Tuesday's final round. Led by Jack Stein and Foster Wood, the Lynx posted a round of 291 (+11), vaulting them up four sports on the leaderboard all the way to sixth with a combined score of 589. 

Stein struggled on day one with a 78 (+1), but played fantastic golf on Tuesday with a 71 (+1). Wood finished one shot behind him with a 72. Avery Stansell chipped in with a 73, while Jud Turner and Will Feagin each posted scores of 75. Wood, who finished at 147, was the highest-ranking individual, finishing in 20th place. 

Kenyon College and Carnegie Mellon tied for the tournament lead. Rhodes finished tied with nationally ranked #3 Emory, and #4 Huntingdon.

It's time for postseason play for the Lynx. They will tee it up with the rest of the SAA at the conference tournament, being held at  Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia April 22-24.
