MEMPHIS, Tenn. (March 30, 2022) - Head Coach Rich Duncan has released the 2022 schedule for the Rhodes football team. 

The schedule features an even split of five home and five away games. 

The Lynx will start their year on the road with a pair of non-conference games. The season will open on the campus of Augustana University in Rock Island, Illinois on September 3. Next up is a clash with the Austin College Kangaroos on September 10.

The week of September 17 will serve as the team's bye week. 

The football home opener coincides with Parent's Weekend on September 24. The Lynx will kick off against the Westminster Blue Jays under the lights at 6:00 pm. 

SAA conference play will open the following week at Crain Field when Rhodes hosts the Centre College Colonels at 1:00 pm. 

The Lynx will head to Berry College on October 8, before returning home for a matchup with Trinity (TX) on October 15. 

The Millsaps Majors are next on the list, serving as hosts to Rhodes on October 22nd with a 3:00 pm kickoff. 

October 29th will be the big date on the calendar. Not only is it homecoming weekend on campus, the Lynx will be battling Sewanee for the Orgill Trophy, the longest continuously-running college football rivalry game in the country. 

Rhodes will wrap up the season at Hendrix on November 5 and at home against Birmingham-Southern on November 12.
