IWLCA Release

Rhodes spent their spring break in Florida where they played three games. They then returned to Memphis where they hosted Transylvania on Sunday afternoon.

Against Mount Holyoke on Monday, Bruner set a new school record with nine assists as the Lynx cruised to a 23-2 win over the Lyons. She also added a goal and four ground balls in the match.

On Wednesday, Rhodes faced Rowan University, and held on for an exciting 17-15 win. Bruner assisted on eight goals in this one, and also recorded four ground balls, a caused turnover, and a draw control.

The next day, Rhodes suffered their only loss of the week, falling 17-10 to Stevenson. Coincidentally, the offense suffered in this one as Bruner was limited to only one assist in the stat sheet.

The Lynx bounced back on Sunday, taking down the Transylvania Pioneers 19-8 at Mason Field. Bruner was back at it, serving up seven helpers along with scoring a goal, and adding three caused turnovers in the Rhodes win.

Bruner has recorded 54 assists on the season, which is the highest total of anyone at the D-III level.

The Lynx are back in action on Sunday when they host Centre College at Mason Field.
