Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. (February 18, 2022) - Rhodes hosted Division II Shorter College at the Dunavant Courts on Friday afternoon, but fell to the Hawks on a frigid day, 5-1. The loss moves Rhodes to 0-2 to start the year, with both losses coming against D-II opponents. 

The Lynx were swept in doubles play:
Kos/Radanovic def. David Phillips and Daniel Trudell 6-2
Cirkovic/Namadevan def. Ryan Crump and Gabriel Williams 6-2
Gailey/Hagan def. Justin Bobo and Owen Kohler 6-3

In singles, Daniel Trudell (who earlier in the day was named the SAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week) was the only Lynx to secure a victory in singles play. HE now stands at 2-0 on the year from position one.

Rhodes will be back at it on Saturday with a pair of matches. They will face St. Mary's (TX) at 9:00 am, followed by a matchup with Tennessee Southern at 12:30 pm. Both matches will be played on campus.
