Get to know the 2022 Field Hockey Seniors:
Name: Courtney Kelly
Position: Center Defense
Major/Minor: Business Major, International Studies Minor
Accomplishments/Other Organizations: Tri Delta all four years, Director of Social Events for Tri delta this year, SAAC Vice President this year
Future outlook: I am looking forward to graduating and finding a job in Boston for marketing
Favorite Memory: My favorite memory on the team was winning championships last year and all of the pregame dance parties before every game.
Advice for freshman: Remember to find balance for yourself and with sports and be apart of different clubs and activities on campus because the time goes by so fast.
Name: Maaike Liguori
Position: Defense
Major/Minor: Major: Environmental Studies Minor: International Studies/History
Accomplishments/Other Organizations: Member of the Delta Psi chapter of Delta Delta Delta
Future outlook: Going into Agricultural Sustainability and sustainable practices for the food service industry.
Favorite Memory: anytime I get to show off my incredible dance moves in one of our typical locker-room dance battles.
Advice for freshman: Enjoy every moment as much as you can, for as long as you can. Time flies by and any moment you get with these people is a special one.
Name: Riley Marzola
Position: Goalkeeper
Major/Minor: Major in music, minor in Spanish
Accomplishments/Other Organizations: Was on the SAA All-Tournament team and made the 2nd All-Conference Team last year. Been a member of various choirs at Rhodes for four years, participated in two musical theatre concerts, and helped at administration events as a music major for prospective c students.
Future outlook: I am looking forward to returning home next year and taking a little bit of a break. I hope to figure out what my future holds very soon!
Favorite Memory: Winning the SAA championship last year and making friends that I know I will have for life.
Advice for freshman: Do what you love to do and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. This may sound cheesy, but it's true! You're going to have so much fun if you stay true to yourself and your interests! I hope you all have the most amazing time here
Name: Samantha Hutchinson
Position: Midfield/Defender
Major/Minor: Business Major with focus in Management and Finance Education Minor
Accomplishments/Other Organizations: Member of the delta psi Delta Delta Delta
Future outlook: Hopefully moving closer to home and working in New York City
Favorite Memory: being stuck in the charlotte airport… just kidding. Definetly winning SAA's last year.
Advice for freshman: Keep having fun… these four years go by way faster than you think.
