Conway, Ark. - Rhodes College women's soccer held on for the 1-0 victory at Hendrix College Saturday night. The Lynx kept the Warriors at bay in a much-needed victory which ensures they advance to the modified conference tournament this season. For this spring season, only the top four teams advance to the 2020-21 SAA tournament.

Senior Liz Vega scored the lone goal of the game in the ninth minute as Rhodes outshot Hendrix 20-13. The Lynx allowed the Warriors just four shots in the first half while Hendrix upped their offensive pressure after halftime where both teams recorded nine shots each. The Lynx also held a 9-2 corner kick advantage throughout the game. 

Hendrix made six saves while first year Annika Seoane made three saves to ensure Rhodes' fourth shutout of the season. The Lynx are now 3-1-1 on the year.

With one regular season game left, the Lynx will host undefeated Centre College for Senior Day on Sunday, April 11th at noon.
