Memphis - After defeating Centre College 22-9 Saturday, Rhodes women's lacrosse took down the Colonels 19-8 in a non-conference matchup on Sunday. The Lynx improve to 8-0 while handing Centre their only losses on the season. Rhodes is also the only team to limit the Colonels to less than 10 goals, doing so in back-to-back games. Rhodes is currently 2-0 in conference while Centre is 3-1.
Rhodes scored the first two goals of the game before each team scored four of the next eight goals. The Lynx led 6-4 before they closed out the final 7:34 of the first half on a 4-1 run. Rhodes outshot Centre 25-13 and held a 10-6 draw control advantage to hold the 10-5 lead.
A 3-1 run gave Rhodes a 13-6 advantage before the Colonels netted back-to-back goals. Senior
KK Mulholland sparked a six-goal run for Rhodes to close out the game while the Lynx were in a man-down situation.

Emma Bradley made 13 saves in the win. Actively a threat outside the cage as well, Bradley anchored a Lynx defense which pressured the Colonels to commit 22 turnovers.
Nine Lynx scored, led by draw specialist and attacker
Baylee Barker who tallied six goals and an assist. Barker also led the game with eight draw controls while
Hannah Swinerton picked up four ground balls and caused three turnovers. Rhodes has totaled at least nine scorers in five of their last six games.
Rhodes will travel to Oglethorpe for a lone game over the holiday week, taking on the Stormy Petrels in Atlanta on Saturday.
