Tunica, Miss. - First year Foster Wood carded a one-under 71 to lead the Lynx to a dual match win over the Hendrix College Warriors. The Rhodes Black team shot 293 and the Red team shot 298 to defeat Hendrix, who shot 321.

JJ Keene and Jack Billups also posted strong rounds of even-par 72. 

"Our team has played 162 holes of competitive golf in the past three weeks, the most any Rhodes team has ever played by March 15," said Rhodes Director of Golf, Mike Clary.  "The influence of coach Tom Campbell, who is serving as the "on-the-course" coach for the men's team, and the work-ethic of the team, is certainly evident. Team captain Vince Wheeler has also been key in our early season success."

The Lynx play in the Jekyll Island Collegiate this Friday-Sunday March 19-21.
