Mount Berry, Ga. - On a cold, rainy, and muddy course, first year Hawthorne Hay led the Rhodes College men's cross country at the Berry College Invitational Saturday morning. 

Hay placed second in a time of 28:03. He led a squad of first years with the Lynx crossing the finish line in the following order: Justin Thompson, Anthony Zanglar, Cole Flynn, and Luke Mason.

Rhodes will continue to train for the SAA Championships which take place in two weeks in Clinton, Miss.
