Atlanta, Ga. - Rhodes College men's tennis suffered a 9-0 loss to No. 1-ranked Emory University Saturday.
Rhodes took two sets in the top two doubles competitions before
Ritwik Chatterjee sent his opponent at No. 1 singles into a second set tiebreaker (2-6, 6(2)-7). At No. 2-singles,
Phil Lauture won three sets in each match while
Daniel Trudell fell 6-4, 6-3 at No. 4-singles. At No. 5-singles,
Alex Lloyd picked up a set in the first set before securing two sets in the second match.
The Lynx look ahead to playing Occidental and Wheaton (Tuesday), No. 9 Case Western Reserve (Wednesday) and Colby-Sawyer (Thursday) in Orlando, Fla.
