Memphis - Charlie Haggerty, from Lake Forest, Illinois has committed to attend Rhodes and play golf. Charlie attends Lake Forest High School in suburban Chicago. "We are looking forward to Charlie being a member of our golf team," said head coach
Mike Clary. "He's an outstanding student and will be a great addition to our student body."
At Lake Forest, Charlie has earned Honor Roll the 9th-12th grades. Charlie has volunteered extensively with the Boys and Girls Clubs and the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association. At Rhodes, Charlie plans to pursue a degree in business.
In 2019 Charlie helped Lake Forest win the Illinois Class 3A State Championship, shooting a 73 in the final round. He was the 2019 Onwentsia Club Junior Champion. This past summer Charlie played in the Orlando International Amateur for Juniors shooting 74-73-75 to place fifth out of 42 players.
In addition to playing golf, Charlie also played four years of ice hockey for Lake Forest.
