Memphis - Fiona Marks, from the Isodore Newman School in New Orleans, has committed to attend Rhodes and play golf for the Lynx. "We are excited Fiona has chosen Rhodes to continue her education. She will be a great addition to our student body and golf team," said Rhodes head coach Mike Clary.

Fiona is a honor student at Newman where she has earned Honor Roll the 9th-11th grades. She received the Fine Arts Award her junior year. Fiona is a member of numerous clubs at Newman and has participated in extensive community service. Fiona plans to study the sciences at Rhodes.

One of the top high school golfers in the New Orleans area, Fiona led Newman to third place finishes in the Louisiana State Tournament in 2018 and 2019. The 2020 state tournament was not contested due to COVID-19. Fiona was recently selected to the 2020 Louisiana Cup, where the top eight players in Louisiana compete against each other in various formats.
