Montgomery, Ala. - The Lynx fired a solid round of 299 Sunday to move up the leader board to third place at the Montgomery Country Club Intercollegiate. After a tough fight, Rhodes women's golf fell to champion Centre College by four shots and Methodist University by one.

Woo Wade led the team for the weekend after shooting second rounds of 75 and 72, respectively. They made the All-Tournament team, both tied for fourth individually, finishing four-over par. Freshman
Bree Wilson had another solid day shooting another 75 to tie for eighth place. Junior
Annie Paris shaved four strokes off her first round with a second round score of 77, while senior
Mary Melissa Manuel shot 80. Individually, sophomore
Karrington Knight shot an 84 while freshmen
Sydney Williams and
Isabella Martino both shot 85.
The Lynx tee it up again in two weeks at the Golfweek Invitational held in Destin, Fla., where the Lynx look to defend their title from last season.
