Birmingham, Ala. - Rhodes College volleyball fell to Birmingham-Southern on the road Saturday 3-1. The Lynx are still searching for their first conference victory and sit 7-8 overall. BSC is now 10-3 overall and undefeated (4-0) in SAA play.

After BSC dominated the first set, Rhodes came back for a close second set, leading 19-18. With the set tied at points 19, 20, 21 and 22, BSC finished the game on three straight points. In the third set the Lynx led 22-18 before the Panthers went on a 6-2 run to tie the game at 24 points. Rhodes avoided the sweep with two points to end the set. BSC then won the game with a 25-12 fourth set victory. 

Freshman Kathryn Chambers led the Lynx with 12 kills while Kelsey Glasper and Marissa Hall both recorded 12 digs. Usually a right-side hitter, Emily Korba turned setter and totaled 21 assists. 

Rhodes will travel to Millsaps Sunday. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
