Memphis - Rhodes College women's soccer defeated Fontbonne University 2-0 Sunday, netting a goal in each half. The Lynx out-shot the Griffins 14-4 including a 7-2 shot-on-goal advantage. Rhodes also earned six corner kick opportunities to Fontbonne's two.

Anya Ranaraja received the ball from senior defender
Taylor Ryan in the 12th minute. Ranaraja settled the ball, turned and immediately slipped it up field where
Alli Cundiff was racing to catch up with the ball along with two Fontbonne defenders. Cundiff one-touched the ball into the box, a step ahead of the Griffins, before netting the ball to the near post to give the Lynx a 1-0 lead as the 13th minute began.
In the second half, Rhodes earned a corner where senior
Katelyn Curtis sent the ball into the middle of the box in the 84th minute. The ball went just over the Fontbonne goalkeeper and fell right into Cundiff's lap, allowing the sophomore to tap the ball into the goal for her fourth goal in two days.

Abby Roevens made two saves, both in the second half.
The Lynx make their first road trip to Fulton, Mo. Friday for a 4 p.m. game at Westminster College.
