Atlanta, Ga. - Rhodes College women's lacrosse flew by Oglethorpe University in conference action Saturday, defeating the Stormy Petrels 26-3. The Lynx picked up their eighth win of the season, insuring at least a share of the regular season conference championship. Rhodes is now 10-3 on the season and 5-0 in the Southern Athletic Association with one more conference matchup in the regular season. Centre and Sewanee both have one loss and play each other next weekend when Rhodes hosts Berry. 

The Lynx dominated the draw, winning 26 of the 31 chances, allowing Rhodes to hold a 52-7 shot advantage. 

The Lynx scored 13 goals in each half, including nine to start the game. Baylee Barker led all with 13 draw controls and 10 points on four goals and a career-high six assists. She ties two former Lynx for the second highest number of assists in a game. Junior Aubrey Gray tallied six points and scored on each of her three shot attempts. Senior Annika Hedlund led the game with six ground balls and five points on a hat trick and two assists. Madison Rubino tied Barker for the game-high four goals while Aidan Pike and Payton Bennett also recorded hat tricks. 

The Lynx conclude the regular season at home and look to win the SAA regular season championship outright when they host Berry College for Senior Day on Saturday, April 13 at noon.
