Memphis - Forced indoors once again, Rhodes College women's tennis defeated Oglethorpe University 5-4 to improve to 12-4 on the year and 5-2 during the conference regular season. It's the most wins for the Lynx against Southern Athletic Association opponents since the spring of 2013.
Rhodes went up 2-1 after wins at No. 2 (8-2) and No. 3 (8-7, 7-5) doubles. The Lynx then took No. 2, 3, and 4 singles to clinch the match as
Kate McGough rounded out the win with her 6-1, 6-1 victory in the fourth slot.
Rhodes will enter the 2019 SAA Tournament in Murfreesboro, Tenn. April 26th on a four-game win streak.
