Nicholasville, Ky. - Rhodes College women's tennis drops to 1-2 in conference after a 7-2 loss to Centre College Sunday.
Rhodes won No. 2 doubles to tie the game after
Caroline Doherty and
Kate McGough teamed up for the 8-5 win. The Colonels took No. 3 doubles before
Michelle Adan-Pol earned the final win for Rhodes at No. 1 singles.
Ranked 18th in the Atlantic South Region, Adan-Pol took down her 15th-ranked counter part 7-6 (5), 6-3. She has now won 10 matches this season at No. 1 singles.
Rhodes will conclude the regular season with a four game home stand beginning this weekend. The Lynx host Birmingham-Southern on Saturday and Millsaps on Sunday. Both matches begin at 9 a.m.
