Charlottesville, Va. - Rhodes College men's lacrosse played a neutral-site contest against No. 13-ranked Denison University Saturday afternoon. The Big Red came away with the 16-10 victory, putting Rhodes at 8-3 on the season. Denison is now 5-2 overall.
Denison's 7-4 first quarter lead helped propel them to victory. The Lynx tallied three goals in the second quarter to trail 11-7 at halftime. In the second half, Denison tallied held a 3-1 scoring advantage.
The game was tied 3-3 until Denison scored three straight to open the game. Rhodes trailed 9-4 in the second half until the Lynx netted three unanswered goals to pull within two. The Big Red went on another three-point run into the third quarter to lead 12-7.

Tyler Milwit for Rhodes' lone game of the third frame. The Lynx scored first in the fourth quarter before
Alexi Thomas put the final goal in the back of the net for the Lynx with seven minutes to play.
Milwit led the Lynx with four goals while
Addison Mueller also tallied four points, scoring three goals and adding an assist.
Christian Cisneros was the game's leading assisting as the freshman tallied three.
James Margraff tallied four ground balls while
Cameron Link recorded five and saved 11 shots. Thomas finished the game with three caused turnovers.
Rhodes is on the road next week at Oglethorpe and Berry before hosting a non-conference game against Southwestern (TX) on Saturday April 6. That game will be played at the women's facility on Mason Field.
