Six Straight Goals in the Second Half Lift Lynx over Kean

Memphis - After taking a 4-1, advantage, Rhodes led 7-4 at halftime over Kean University. After the Cougars tallied the first goal of the second half, Rhodes went on a scoring rampage, netting six goals in a row, including four from Matt Perez. The Lynx would go on to defeat the Cougars 13-8 to improve to 6-2 on the season. 

David Jones tied the game after he netted the first goal for Rhodes before Matt Perez gave the Lynx the lead. Tyler Milwit scored Rhodes' third goal of the game before assisting Jonathon Hazelhurst's first career goal to end the first quarter.

Kean scored first in the second quarter until Cisneros served up Alexi Thomas for Rhodes' fifth goal of the game. Karl Van Blargan then roped in the seventh. Kean closed out the half on a 2-1 run including a man-up goal. Matt Perez scored a hat trick in the third quarter, giving Rhodes a 10-5 advantage before Ryan Marasco opened the final frame with a goal. Tristan Brunet and Perez then finished Rhodes' scoring, giving the Lynx a 13-5 advantage. Kean scored the final three goals of the game.  

Perez tallied five goals and Cisneros four assists as eight different Lynx found the back of the net. Henry Hasbrouck led the defense with four caused turnovers while J.J. Hoots won 13-of-18 faceoffs and scooped up nine ground balls. In cage, Cameron Link made 12 saves.
