Gambier, Ohio - Rhodes College men's tennis traveled to Ohio this weekend and met up with No. 14-ranked Kenyon College Friday night.
The Lynx took No. 1-doubles and No. 6-singles from the Lords as
P.J. Shaw paired up with
Andrew Morton for an 8-6 victory. Morton then defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-3.
Kenyon's No. 20-ranked Jacob Zalenski overcame Rhodes' No. 38-ranked Ritwick Chatterjee at No. 1-singles 6-2, 6-3. Sairem Gudiseva forced his opponent at No. 6-singles to a first-set tie-breaker, falling 7-6 (5), 6-4.
Rhodes, who is ranked 10th in the Atlantic/South Region, travels to Coach Cempre's alma mater, No. 27-ranked Denison University, who is ranked fifth in the Central Region. Kenyon is ranked fourth in the same region.
