Rhodes College's Toler Freyaldenhoven (Conway, Ark.), was named the SAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this year, as announced by the Southern Athletic Association on October 8, 2019.
Freyaldenhoven finished second out of 276 runners at the NCAA Division III pre-national meet in Louisville, Ky. His time of 24:22 is one of the fastest 8K's in school history.
The field of teams included top-ranked North Central College. Freyaldenhoven finished ahead of several All-Americans from last year, including individuals that finished fourth, 11th, and 12th at the 2018 national championship meet.
The senior is the only men's cross country runner to earn the honor twice this season.
The Lynx will head to Mississippi College this weekend for the Watson Invitational on Saturday, October 12.
