Memphis - Interceptions hindered the Lynx as the No. 21/22-ranked Berry College Vikings handed Rhodes a 57-10 loss Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Berry won the toss and elected to defer, however the Vikings forced the Lynx to punt on their first drive before the hosts connected on a 33-yard field goal. They ended the first quarter with a 23-0 lead after two reception touchdowns and a 14-yard pick-six.Â
• After Berry took a 30-0 advantage, Rhodes'
Fred Jackson put up his first career field goal. The 33-yard connection is the first for the Lynx this season.
• Trailing 51-3 in the third quarter,
Tony Heyward forced a Berry fumble on Rhodes' eight yard line when freshman
Beck Fieth made the recovery and 92-yard touchdown return. It's his first career touchdown and first career fumble recovery.

JaVon Cooper totaled 53 net rushing yards including one for 13 yards.Â

Andrew Herring totaled 62 yards on two receptions. His longest of the day was 43 yards. Both are season highs.Â
Adam Martinez ran a kickoff back for 29 yards.
• Jackson averaged 36.8 yards per punt, totaling 147 yards. His longest was 46 yards.
• Heyward led Rhodes with eight tackles while he and
Tre' Barnes each recorded six solo.Â
• Time of possession was close with Berry holding a 30:48 to 27:55 advantage.
FOR THE FOES
• Mason Kinsey recorded three touchdowns in the first half in receptions of 48, 20 and 37 yards.
• Berry's touchdowns included four receptions and one rushing. The Vikings recorded 457 yards of total offense compared to Rhodes' 208 yards.
• Brandon Palmer and A.M. Harris each recoded five tackles while the team totaled four sacks.
