Sewanee, Tenn. - Rhodes College men's swimming swam past Sewanee Saturday afternoon, winning 12 events. The Lynx totaled 29 top-three swims on their way to six personal bests and seven season bests.
Tanner Martinez swam to a personal best in the 100 IM while Ryan Folk earned a PR in the 1650 free, swimming to third place. Two Lynx, Jose Pastrana and Ben Bryce, both her PR's in the 100 free and 500 free events.
In addition to their 12 wins, Rhodes earned second place nine times and third eight times. Zac Gammons, Richard Gentry, Hayden Hill and Harrison Rozman won the first event for the men, taking home the 200 medley relay. Hill also won the 500 free and 100 fly. The team of David Pitts, Evan Ziolkowshi, Arrington Moses and Jon Pulaski won the 200 free relay in 1:33.36. Ziolkowski also took first in the 100 free and 200 free. Senior Christian Stankovic won the 100 breast and 200 breast events and also placed second in the 50 free. The final four first-place finishes included Bradford (100 fly), Gammons (100 back), Rozman (50 free), and Gentry (200 back).

Rhodes will train for the upcoming SAA Championship, held at the Birmingham CrossPlex February 13-16.
