Memphis - Rhodes men's soccer's 1-0 loss against Birmingham-Southern College was not without it's offensive chances. The loss takes Rhodes to 5-3 on the year and 1-1 in conference play and also snaps a two-game win streak for the Lynx.
During the game, Rhodes held a 17-13 shot advantage as well as an 8-4 corner kick advantage. Three of
Ian Schiller's four shots were on target.
Rob Morris also aided the offense, securing two shots on goal of his three total on the afternoon.
BSC would net the only goal of the game during the 87th minute.
Will Birka-White was busy in goal, saving six shots for Rhodes while BSC's Galen Curry earned the win after saving 13 shots.Â
Rhodes is at home next weekend, hosting Centre on Friday before turning around and hosting Sewanee on senior day at noon on Sunday, October 7th.Â
