Susan Morris' two-under 71, Rhodes women's golf opened the 2018-19 season with an impressive team score of 302 and win over Christian Brothers University (326). Senior Co-Captain
Melissa Kiker carded a one-over 74. All seven Rhodes players shot in the 70's.
"I was really pleased with our scoring today," said Rhodes head coach
Mike Clary. "It was a hot, muggy day and our players did a great job of staying focused and playing smart golf."
The Lynx will host the Rhodes Classic this Saturday-Sunday, September 8-9, at The Links at Galloway. Two top-ten teams of Methodist (NC) and Washington University (MO), along with Rhodes, will vie for the tournament title. The shot-gun start on Saturday is scheduled for 1:45 p.m.
