Memphis - Rhodes College volleyball fell to Birmingham-Southern Saturday afternoon in three sets, taking the Lynx to 6-4 on the year. BSC improves to 7-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
The home Panthers stormed the court in the first set, keeping the Lynx to 12 points before Rhodes put up a strong fight, earning 21 points in the second set. Berry took a 17-12 advantage before Rhodes posted four straight points to pull within one. The Vikings would re-gain a four-point lead to hold on for the second set victory. During the third frame, Rhodes tied the score five-all before BSC went on a 12-4 run to secure their lead for the remainder of the match.

Britt Butler who garnered 10 digs and tied for the Lynx lead with seven kills. Also tallying seven kills was

Sarah Nieland recorded 15 assists.
Rhodes will travel to Jackson, Miss. to take on Millsaps on Sunday at noon.
