St. Louis, Mo. - Rhodes College women's soccer traveled to St. Louis this weekend for the Challenge Tournament, hosted by Washington University in St. Louis. The Lynx and No. 6-ranked Bears opened the tournament with Rhodes falling 4-1. WashU advances to the championship game tomorrow and is now 6-0 on the season.

Sydnie Schindler rattled a shot from 30 yards out over the head of WashU goalkeeper. The goal, which came in the 33rd minute, is the first the Bears have allowed all season. WashU held a 9-3 shot advantage with a 2-1 lead at halftime.
The Bears would net two more goals in the second half to finish the contest. The top-10 ranked squad finished the contest with 22 shots to Rhodes' four. Lynx senior goalkeeper

The Lynx will now play DePauw at Francis Field in St. Louis on Sunday at 11 a.m.
