Memphis - Rhodes College women's lacrosse shined on senior day as the Lynx downed Oglethorpe University 24-3 Sunday afternoon. The win takes the Lynx to 11-3 on the year and 5-0 in conference play.

Senior Ashley Doyle netted the first of 19 straight goals for Rhodes. She finished with four goals on six shots, one assist and nine of Rhodes' 21 draw controls. The highlight of the game was Cunningham's first goal of the game. Aubrey Gray fed her the ball from behind the cage. Cunningham dodged her defender with a quick spin before firing a laser to the upper right corner for her 300th career goal. She is just the seventh person among all NCAA players to reach the coveted 300 mark and she is the first person since the 2015 season to do so. Cunningham also had a monster game on the ride, as the attacker recorded a career-high seven caused turnovers and led the game with six ground balls.

Defender Rachel Windmueller found the back of the net twice as did KK Mulholland, Erin Gleeson and Annika Hedlund. Hedlund also led the game with three assists. Windmueller's first career goal was scored on a free position shot from the left side of the cage with about 13 minutes left in the game. She gave Rhodes a 21-2 lead.

Prior to the game, the Lynx honored their eight seniors who were the first recruited class to come to Rhodes for Division III play. Kendall Cunningham, McKenna Davis, Ashley Doyle, Erin Gleeson, Olivia Holmes, Liz Lewis, Maggie Rippeto and Rachel Windmueller will still get to play at Mason Field on April 22nd for the semifinal round of the SAA Tournament.
