Dickson, Tenn. - Rhodes College men's golf earned their second straight Southern Athletic Association Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship. The Lynx, who were down one stroke after day one, finished the tournament 20 strokes ahead of both Oglethorpe and Sewanee with a score of 879 at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn.
The Lynx had four among the top-ten performances after the third round endured a rain delay.
Corrie Kuhn earned medalist honors after leading the tournament with a two-over par average after going 71, 75, 72 (218). Kuehn birdied the 17th and 18th holes to come from two shots back to win by one stroke over Centre's Hans Stromberg.
Rhodes'
Alec Davis finished tied for third place after he shot the single-low round of the tournament (69 - three-under par) to move up 11 spots in the leaderboard. Davis went 75, 76, 69 (220) over the three days.
Tyler Cohen tied for sixth place after tallying rounds of 72, 78, 73 for a three-day total of 223.
Hunter Bremer tied for ninth after firing 74 in the first two rounds and finished with a total of 225 after a third-round score of 77.
Matt McKenney tied for 11th (76, 74, 76 = 226) while
Chris Harris placed 14th (73, 78, 76 = 227).
The Lynx had six players earn all-conference accolades with head coach
Bill Cochran named the 2018 SAA Men's Golf Coach of the Year.

Chris Harris earned first team All-SAA honors while
Tyler Cohen,
Hunter Bremer and
Matt McKenney were named to the second team.
The Lynx will practice until the NCAA Division III Tournament at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C. May 15-18.
