Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Orlando, Fla. - Rhodes College men's tennis defeated St. John's University 6-3 in Tuesday morning for their fourth straight victory. Later that night, the Lynx suffered a 6-1 loss to No. 36-ranked Coe College.

Against St. John's, the Lynx won two of the doubles before earning four singles victories. Rhodes won both tiebreakers at No. 1 and No. 5-singles. Andrew Mortan tallied the only shutout with a 6-0 first-set victory at No. 4-singles. Wes Tolsdorf was down 5-0 in the tiebreaker at No. 5-singles, but came back for the huge 10-8 victory. His win put the Lynx ahead 3-2 while Phil Lauture sealed the win at No. 3-singles. 

Against nationally ranked Coe College, Lauture and Ritwik Chatterjee won the heated battle at No. 1-doubles 8-6 over Jake Kudrick and Nate Greiner. At No. 2-doubles, Andrew Morton and Sean Hogan won five sets off the No. 17-ranked doubles duo of Brady Anderson and Nate Ackert.

In singles competition, recent SAA Player of the Week, Chatterjee, took the second set from No. 19-ranked Anderson 6-4 before falling by two points in the tiebreaker.

The Lynx will play again Wednesday morning against Wabash at 11:30 a.m. ET in Kissimmee, Fla. at Oak Street.
