Birmingham, Ala. - Rhodes men's lacrosse took down Birmingham-Southern College in a conference matchup on their way back to Memphis from North Carolina. The 17-12 victory improves the Lynx to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in SAA play.
A total of 12 Lynx recorded at least one point in the win.
Ryan Fennelly led scoring with four goals and one assist while
David Perez scored on all three shot attempts.
Cameron Link was once again a force in the cage, recording 10 saves.
Rhodes closed out the second period with four goals and also opened the third period with four goals but with the Lynx leading 17-5, BSC finished the game with seven straight goals.
The two teams were relatively tied with faceoff controls, but the Lynx held a one-faceoff advantage in the game. They also tallied a 51-44 shot advantage including 21 in the second period which allowed them to take an 11-4 halftime lead.
Rhodes will host Hendrix at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 31st and will also honor their five seniors in

Justin Powers,
Tommy Reingruber,
John Snyder and
Steven Yowan.
