Rhodes College men's tennis rebounded from their loss at No. 1-ranked Emory College Saturday with a 7-2 victory of Bethel University on Sunday.
Against Emory, all of Rhodes' doubles teams scored three or more points off the top ranked Eagles.
Ritwik Chatterjee almost took the first set at No. 1-singles, but fell to his opponent 6-4, 6-1.
Rhodes went ahead 2-1 after doubles at Bethel, most decisively in the No. 3-slot with an 8-2 victory for
Ted Hall and
Wesley Tolsdorf. Chatterjee came out on top of his singles sets, both at 6-4. Bethel's only singles win came at No. 2-singles which had to go to a super tiebreaker where Bethel won 10-7.
The Lynx will return to conference action with matches at Berry and Oglethorpe over Easter weekend.
