Claremont, Calif. - Rhodes College women's lacrosse finished West Coast play with a 9-6 victory over Pomona-Pitzer Saturday evening.
Rain fell throughout the game as both teams quickly became drenched.
Maggie Rippeto led Rhodes with two goals and two assists while
Kendall Cunningham,
Olivia Holmes and
Annika Hedlund both notched two goals as well.
Sophomore
Lauren Lazure had a big day in goal with 11 saves, five in the first half and six in the second half. Lazure headed a defense where the Sagehens went 0-6 from 8m shots.
Rhodes will return to Memphis to host Dickinson on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
