Auburndale, Fla. - In their final game of the week, Rhodes baseball fell victim to Webster University 8-3 after the Gorloks recorded three doubles and stole 16 bases.
Webster took a 4-0 lead and led 5-3 before scoring three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Rhodes scored on a
Brady John sac fly in the fifth,
Nick Bosma solo home run in the seventh and an RBI single by
Jacob Telli in the eighth.
Telli and
Paul Giacomazzi both went two of four in the game with Telli securing a double.
Rhodes returns to SAA action when they host Oglethorpe March 17-18. The Saturday doubleheader begins at 1 p.m.
