Austin, Texas - In their final game of the Concordia University Texas Classic, Rhodes baseball fell to George Fox University 3-1, but not before the Lynx bullpen stuck out 12 Bruins.
Trey Sledge got the start for the Lynx and threw a team-high six K's over four innings of work.
Matt Dale came in relief for Sledge and struck out three Bruins in 1.2 innings.
Will Vance (one) and
John Medich (two) rounded out K's on the mound for Rhodes.Â
Medich and Heurtin both doubled for Rhodes while
Brady John stole two bases. The Lynx scored in the sixth inning after a walk, wild pitch and single by
Levi Greenberg. Greenberg finished two-of-three on the day with an RBI.
Rhodes is now 1-2 on the year. The Lynx are supposed to host LeMoyne Owen on Tuesday for their home opener at 2 p.m., barring any weather issues.
