Memphis - Rhodes came out hot from beyond the arc in the first quarter against Millsaps, netting four treys on their way to a 19-12 advantage.
Jessie Ustick made two-of-three attempts and finished the night three-of-six from long range with 11 total points and seven rebounds. Rhodes led 36-29 at halftime and finished with the 65-53 victory.
Alyssa Owens led the game with 14 points, followed by
Allie Young with 13 points and six assists.Â
The win improves the Lynx to 14-8 on the year and 7-5 in conference play. With only two SAA games left, the Lynx cannot host the tournament, but with two wins, Rhodes could take second over Hendrix in the regular season.
The Lynx have three more games in the regular season, all at home, first by hosting Birmingham-Southern Sunday at 1 p.m.
