Memphis - Rhodes College men's basketball suffered their eighth straight loss Tuesday afternoon after No. 3-ranked Augustana College (Ill.) defeated the Lynx 86-42. 

After scoring only 14 points in the first half, Rhodes doubled their efforts in the second half, netting 28 points. 

Augie's hot shooting (36-61 / 59%) was no match for the Lynx who shot 29.6% in the field. Freshman Kevin Shen scored a Lynx-high 12 points in the game while James Mac totaled four assists. 

The tall Vikings hit the Lynx hard on the boards, totaling 48 rebounds, including 15 offensive while Rhodes tallied 17 on the afternoon. 

Rhodes is off for the holiday break until they host UT-Tyler on Sunday, December 30th at noon.
