Maryland Heights, Mo. - Rhodes field hockey is now 8-1 on the season after a neutral-site shutout over Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) Sunday afternoon. The two teams met for a non-conference game just west of St. Louis at SportPort.

Daryl Perry scored the game-winning goal just three minutes into the game. Junior
Hailey Mules then secured the only other goal of the first half just over a minute later. Mules scored two more goals in the second half for a true hat trick before freshman
Hannah Luckes finished scoring on the day in the 48th minute. The third goal of the game came just 1:42 into the second half.
Mules has now scored 15 goals this season and has accumulated 38 points. In goal,
Nina Migneco stopped four shots on goal for CUW.
The Lynx recorded 31 shots in the game, compared to the Falcons' 13. Rhodes also held a 12-5 corner advantage.
The Lynx are on the road over this coming weekend, which is fall break for everyone. Rhodes will travel to Virginia to play Randolph-Macon on the campus of Mary Washington on Sunday, followed by a competition against the host school on Monday.
