Jackson, Miss. - Trailing by three at halftime, Rhodes found themselves down by eight points with 11:27 to go before the Lynx posted 10 straight points to take a 76-74 lead with 10:02 remaining. Rhodes then took a seven-point lead over the Majors until Millsaps began sinking free throws. Four consecutive free throws by Michael Sullivan brought Millsaps within one point (94-93) with just over two minutes to play. Rhodes was able to hold on by finishing a 9-3 run for the victory.
The win elevates the Lynx to 8-7 overall and 2-2 in SAA play. Millsaps drops to 0-4 against conference opponents.

Anesu Nyawata led Rhodes with 18 points while all 15 of freshman
Andrew Evans' points came from three-point range. It was a career-high five three-pointers in the game for the New York native, who only attempted six long-range buckets for a career-high .833 average behind the arc.
Fourteen of Nyawata's points came in the second half. Junior
Daniel Darst led the team with seven rebounds while netting 14 points and two blocks.
Rhodes will next travel to Birmingham Southern for a 3 p.m. contest on Sunday.
