Birmingham, Ala. - Rhodes College men's soccer received a gift in the 72nd minute from freshman
Ian Schiller to lift the Lynx over Birmingham-Southern (BSC) and put them at the top of the conference standings with two wins. Rhodes is now 5-1-2 on the year while BSC falls to 5-4-1.

Mark Robinson's cross found Schiller who headed in the eventual game-winner in the second half. Schiller now has two goals on the year.
Rhodes' defense held the Panthers to just one shot in the first half. On the evening, 29 total fouls were recorded in the game, 15 for BSC and 14 for Rhodes. BSC also held a slight 8-7 edge in corner kicks while Rhodes out-shot the Panthers 13-7.
Rhodes will travel to NAIA Williams Baptist on Monday. The two teams will take to the pitch for a 3:30 p.m. start.
