Memphis - Rhodes College field hockey wrapped up two games this weekend at home with their 4-0 win over Concordia-Wisconsin (CUW) to open conference play. Rhodes out-scored their opponents 11-0 and are 4-3 on the year. 

Despite CUW's small roster size, the Falcons' defense gave the Lynx a hard time in the first half. Rhodes netted the game-winner in the ninth minute as Mackenzie's Busby's drive was tipped in by Haylie Mules. Rhodes was held scoreless for the remainder of the half despite out-shooting CUW 10-1. 

Rhodes possessed the ball in the circle for quite some time in the second half, scoring three more goals to earn their first conference win in as many games. Lauren Travis had a hand in each of the three goals, assisting on all of them. Lizzie Wood scored twice as did Delaney Graf who earned her first goal of the season. 

Goalkeeper, Nina Migneco recorded her second win over the weekend, saving the only Falcon shot on goal. 

Rhodes is on the road in non-conference action this weekend at Denison University. The Lynx will also meet up with Oberlin on Denison's campus.
