MEMPHIS - It was yet another dominant performance by the Rhodes College women's lacrosse team as they moved to 9-0 overall with a dominant 22-2 win over Muskingum on Monday afternoon at Mason Field.
Rhodes controlled every facet of the game, out shooting the Muskies 45-6 including a 34-3 advantage in shots on target. Rhodes forced 25 turnovers as Muskingum was only 4 of 17 in clear attempts. The Lynx picked up 41 ground balls and was 19 of 26 in draw controls.
The Lynx took a 14-0 lead in the first half alone with junior
Kendall Cunningham scoring six goals in the first half alone. Junior
Maggie Rippeto added three goals and three assists in the half as Rhodes was in complete control.
Rhodes got the lead all the way ou tot 18-0 before the Muskies scored two straight goals. Rhodes closed the game with the final four goals to score 20+ goals in their sixth game this season. It is also their third straight game with 20+ goals.
Cunningham led the way with 10 points on eight goals and two assists while Rippeto had eight points with four goals and four assists. Senior
Lindsay Gess had a four point outing with two goals and two assists while junior

Annika Hedlund each had three points with two goals and an assist.

Olivia Holmes had a goal and an assist. Sophomore

Ashley Dill, freshman Kaeley Bennet, and freshman
Brynly Marsh all had one assist.

Aubrey Gray finished with five ground balls while Gess and Dill had four. Holmes, junior
Rachel Windmueller, and sophomore
Elizabeth Gaudio all had three. Cunningham finished with three caused turnovers while Windmueller and senior
Emily Teague each had two.

Katherine Tooley got the win in goal while freshman
Lauren Lazure played the final 30 minutes, picking up a save.
Rhodes continues their homestand tomorrow afternoon at 1 PM as they welcome in Morrisville State to Mason Field.
