MEMPHIS - The Rhodes College women's lacrosse team had 18 different players score a goal as they stormed the Millsaps Majors to a 27-1 victory on Saturday afternoon at Harper Davis Field.
The Lynx out shot the Majors an astounding 52-3 and had 40 shots on target. Rhodes scooped 48 ground balls and won 27 of the 29 draw controls while forcing 26 Millsaps turnovers.
Rhodes scored 21 consecutive goals before Millsaps got on the board late in the second half. The Lynx had a nine goal lead in the first seven minutes and got it over 10 for the clock runoff at the 15 minute mark of the first half.

Kendall Cunningham scored four goals while junior
Maggie Rippeto had three goals and two assists. Senior
Lindsay Gess had two goals and two assists while junior

Aubrey Gray had two assists to go with a goal while sophomore
Elizabeth Gaudio, freshman Kaeley Bennett, and sophomore
Lauren Boots all had a goal and an assist.Â

Daly Colarossi had three ground balls while Rippeto, Doyle, and Gaudio all had two. Cunningham, Bennet, and sophomore
Casey Glick all had three caused turnovers while Marsh and sophomore

Rachel Windmueller all had three draw controls.
Freshman
Lauren Lazure got her first start in goal and earned her first collegiate win, picking up a save in the process.
Rhodes is now 5-0 on the season and will return home on Sunday afternoon as they open a seven game home stand, taking on the Redlands for a 3 PM matchup at Mason Field.
