IWU would hold a double-digit lead for the entire second half, with Rhodes limiting that to 10 points (100-90) with over eight minutes left in the game.

With 11:22 to play in the game, De Feria and Bryce Berry both received their fourth fouls for the Lynx with Weatherford tallying his a minute later. Adding to Rhodes' depth issues was an injury on Daniel Darst who came out of the game with 7:15 left. He returned for a brief minute later.
