Sewanee, Tenn. - Sunday Rhodes women's soccer took down the University of the South with a 2-1 victory. The win puts Rhodes at 4-2 in conference, where, with just one game left in the regular season, has solidified a top-four finish and right to host in the first round of the SAA Tournament.

Liz Vega struck first in the game, scoring in the 24th minute before Sewanee tied the game early in the second half in the 48th minute.
With just under four minutes to go in the game,
Aly Hoyt assisted on Vega's game-winning goal. The Lynx have now won seven of their last nine games.Â
During the game, Rhodes had double the offensive opportunities and recorded 10 shots to Sewanee's five.
The Lynx will finish their regular season at home when they host Hendrix College at noon on October 21 (Senior Day).
