Danville, Ky. - With a halftime score of 0-0, Rhodes women's soccer fell victim to Centre College Friday night after the Colonel's scored three goals in the second half.
Rhodes is now 7-5-1 overall and 3-2 in conference while Centre improves to 9-3-2 and an undefeated 4-0 SAA record.Â
Centre out-shot Rhodes 21-2 during the shutout including 14 shots in the second half. The Colonel's netted their first goal in the 67th minute off a corner before scoring two more in the ensuing 15 minutes.
Anna Maldonado saved six in goal for the Lynx who now travel to Sewanee for a Sunday game at 1 p.m.
