Berry raced out to a 13-5 lead in the first set, but Rhodes fought back to make it a 14-11 game, taking advantage of Berry errors to get back into the set.

Following a kill by sophomore Olivia Rowe, the Lynx got the match within two, but Berry responded with five straight points and, despite another rally from Rhodes, to close the set at 25-21.

In the second set, Berry used a big rally early in the match to gain complete control of the match and win 25-15. The Vikings were on fire during set two, hitting .346 in the set with 11 kills to two errors.

Down 22-16 in the third set, Rhodes went on a four point rally thanks in part to sophomore Ellen Platt; however, Berry would respond by scoring three of the four points to win set three, 25-21, and close the match.

Platt finished with 10 kills while freshman Heather Antrim added seven. Sophomore August Bishop had three service aces while sophomore Lulu Schulz had two. Sophomore Hannah McCarty finished with 13 assists while sophomore Camila Zimmerman had 15 digs.
